Regular Clothing Sizes Vs. Compression Wear

  • Step 5: Ensure that the sock band lies flat and that the top of the band sits 2 finger widths below the crease of the knee. Never pull the sock up into the crease behind your knee as this may limit the circulation.

• • Measurements should always be taken as soon as possible waking when swelling is minimal. First thing in the morning is a good idea.
  • Measure next to the skin, not over bulky clothing.
  • Measure with the foot flat on the floor and with the leg bent at a right angle.
  • Use a cloth measuring tape. Take the measurements snug on the skin, but don’t pull tight.
  • Take length measurements from the ground up.
  • It’s helpful to take all the measurements. If you later choose to get a different style, you already have the measurements.
